Pound Hand
i used to lift 30 pound dumbbells but today suddenly my left hand can’t lift it at all! what the hell?
i admit that i was lifting a little late today (10:30 pm) but still…i used to lift the 30 pound dumbbell perfectly fine for a couple of weeks and suddenly today my left hand got extremely weak! My right hand was fine but the left was unable to lift (i even had trouble lifting the 20 pounder) What is going on? I work my biceps once a week so i know i’m not overworking it. I also get plenty of protein. Is this something i should worry about? What should i do?

Do you drink enough water?
Do you consume enough omega-3 fatty acids (which are great for joint health)?
Do you consume enough calcium, magnesium, and potassium? (do not overconsume these; it is quite dangerous to do so!)
I’ve had this happen to me as well; I think most people who train weights experience it. I think it has something to do with your neurological system not sending the right signals between your brain and muscles; hopefully someone else can give a proper explanation of what is going on.
