Porcelain Chrome
What kind of bathroom towel bar (etc.) will not tarnish?
I want to replace the current hand towel bar and toilet paper holder in my bathroom, but I DON’T want to get anything that, although it might look great in the store, will later require special polishing to keep it looking nice. What kind of material will be low maintenance yet durable? Chrome tends to flake and chip, so I’d rather not do that. Porcelain would probably be nice, but I’ve only seen porcelain/nickel combos, and I’m concerned that nickel might tarnish.

Wood doesn’t seem the right choice for a humid bathroom. Plus it doesn’t aesthetically appeal to me. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
Stainless steel would be great, but I’ve never seen towel bars & toilet paper holders made only out of stainless steel.
Any suggestions where to find them? I’ve looked at Lowe’s and Home Depot. Have you ever seen any like that (entirely stainless steel) anywhere? I’m not sure they make them.
Restoration Hardware has non corrosive accessories. However i was disappointed to see that they do not have porcelain, which is what I would suggest for you.
It’s worth looking into for sure. Check out what they have and even give them a call if you have any questions. Their claims of “non corrosive” items might be just what you need.
