removing a tiny stripped screw inside a laptop?
i was trying to replace my 2.5″ laptop harddrive when the screw holding it down stripped… is there anything i can do to remove this tiny tiny screw?
ive read places where ppl recommended using a dremel to create a slot and using a phillips head to get it out, but i dont own a dremel =
any other suggestions? thanks

try using a magnet but make sure to take out the hard drive and battery just in case it might damage any data on the hard drive. Oh, sorry i thought you meant it was loose inside the laptop for stripped screws you can get what is called a screw extractor and it is a hex bit that attaches to a screwdriver or power drill. Sears, home depot, lowe’s any hardware store sells them. Good luck.
