Are full overlay cabinets better or worse for home resale value than non full overlay cabinets?
The selection of full overlay versus traditional overlay cabinets should be fairly neutral to resale value. Short term, full overlay will probably increase resale value slightly, long term it could go either way.
Other factors are more important to resale value — a proper design, color, door style and cabinet quality.
Proper design with full overlay cabinets is slightly more difficult, special care must be take with clearance for doors and drawers to open properly.
