Orbit Sander
My single speed random orbit sander runs at half speed. Brushes are good. Does it sound like a bad armature?
This is an older Craftsman 4-1/2″ sander and I have a bunch of sanding paper plus a couple of spare hook and loop pads so I was hoping to save it. Thanks for the feed back
The problem is usually the bearings. You may be able to get a few more hours of use by opening the sander and cleaning the bearings with WD-40. It’s time to start looking at a new sander.
