Where can I find tapes of the BBC series “Television,” which aired on PBS stations in 1988?
PBS aired a BBC documentary in 1988 called “Television”, originally narrated by Michael Winship (though changed to Edwin Newman for American audiences). It’s an eight-part series of one-hour programs tracing the development of television from the 1920s to the 1980s. Searches for this program have proved futile–is it available anywhere in VHS format, or DVD?
