Narrow Crown
Painting the hallway tips?
I have a narrow stairway leading up to a hallway thats just a 20×10 box with a door on each wall leading to the bedrooms and bathroom. I painted the walls of the stairway a light brown (coffee cream) and the walls of the hallway are chocolate brown. The ceiling is the same coffee color. the next step is to put in hardwood and i’ve decided on the Hickory smoke engineered hardwood flooring.
My question is: what would be a good color for the molding on the bottom of the wall and the crown molding and the doors. I’m trying to steer away from the white but it also has to be a rather neutral color to the color family cuz i plan to keep the scheme consistent through out the house.

you could use grey and then use all brushed nickel hardware………like the pieces that hold up the railing and the door handles……you could even put a big picture up using the nickel or aluminum finish
