Why do Kennedys have so much power/influence considering they are not the sharpest tool in the shed?
For example that Kennedy lady who almost ran for senetor for NY – she automatically had the opportunity but as soon as she opened her mouth it was like so painful they had to get our out of there fast. Then John took the bar like 5 times and failed each time. They’re just not so sharp yet they get all the doors opened to them.
And then there’s senetor Ted Kennedy who has had a million DUIs and was close to running for president. List goes on.
I think the influence of the Kennedy family has waned significantly and is overstated these days. Caroline Kennedy will probably not ever be a serious contender in any Senate election, and I don’t believe she ever had much of a chance to be appointed by Patterson. And look how influential Ted Kennedy’s endorsement of Obama was in the Massachusetts Democratic Primary. Hillary beat him handily.
