Medallion Floor
Anyone who has taken Bronze Medallion?
Ya, im going to be taking the bronze medallion test sometime soon, i was just wondering, i’ve been doing all of my swiming techniques accurately, but when it comes to dives/picking up objects from the floor, i hafta wear goggles like these;

(the ones that cover your nose too).
Will i be allowed to wear them during the test?

Do you really have to wear goggles/mask?
I remember when I did my Bronze Med. test, that no goggles of any kind were allowed. We had to do a head up front-crawl approach, then do a head-first surface dive to the bottom of the pool (12 feet down) to grab the brick. Personally, I find that goggles really squish into your face and hurt when you go down that far due to the pressure of all the water above you. It’s really best to just open your eyes underwater and just go for it. If you have less than perfect eyesight (like me) then just make sure that the brick has good contrast with the surrounding pool bottom and that you don’t wear contacts that day.
