Should I measure Amish friendship starter with glass measuring cup or regular measuring cups?

The glass measuring cup or the regular measuring cups?? Help!!
If the starter is in a large mouth or bowl shaped container, it will be much easier to use a regular measuring cup and just scrape it off level back into the bowl if you need to. Using a glass cup will be a hassle because the dough sticks to the glass, obscuring exactly where the top is. Glass works nicely with self leveling liquid or with something that can be poured, so if you have it in a small mouth jug – pour it slowly up to the line.
