Shower Heads – Upgrade to Luxury
Every homeowner is entitled to feel pampered in their own home. All you’ll have to do is remove the connectors with pliers (some may require a screwdriver) and ta-da! You’re ready to install your new piece. Removing your old showerhead will also give you the opportunity to clean any debris or build-up that has gathered around the pipe over time. If you’ve experienced leakage from the base of your showerhead in the past, apply some plumber’s tape around the pipe before you install your new head to ensure there is a water tight seal. This will eliminate any extra dripping that may have been occurring in the past.
Now that you know how to change your showerhead – it’s time to choose a new one. Heading to your local home improvement store should provide you with quite a selection of new hardware for your shower. A great choice is to choose a showerhead that offers you different functions that can be changed easily by rotating the head itself. Sometimes, you may be in the mood to take a relaxing shower – so the massage function will be great. Other times, you may want a wider flow of water as opposed to a pulsating jet stream, so the spray mode would be best. It gives you versatility which will help allow you to get the most out of your time in the bath.
Another great option when choosing a showerhead is to select one with a removable piece. You can use the removable “wand” to massage your back with relaxing jets of water and you can easily adjust the height and placement of the spray when it’s mounted on the wall. If you have children, you can quickly and easily rinse shampoo from their hair with a removable shower head. Investing in pieces that are versatile will help save you money and allow you to have a fully functional bathroom that you and the entire family will be able to use and enjoy.
Luxury showerheads can often be inexpensive and are certainly something that can help you give your home that upscale and luxurious feel without having to take out a small loan. Giving yourself simple luxuries in the home will help you relax, enjoy your home more, and allow you to truly get the most out of your investments. Who knows – once you install a piece like a massaging shower head, you may just be motivated to transform your entire bathroom into a beautiful sanctuary that you and your family will be able to use and enjoy for many years to come.
