Magnetizer Demagnetizer
can a demaged neo mag be mag. back to orig gauss?
sorry about the charactor limit heres the question, i have some powerful nedymium magnets and if i put them in the demagnetizer part of a screwdriver magnetizer will they fully demagnetize? if then i put the demagnetized magnets into the magnetizer part of the screwdriver magnetizer will it be magnetized back to its original strength? or do i need something stronger to remagnetize it?

Neo magnets are probably the strongest type of permanent magnet that there is. To magnetize it that strongly initially, it must be subjected to a magnetic field that is at least that strong. These fields invariably are electrically generated, since there is no stronger permanent magnet that can do the job.
I would guess that your screwdriver demagnetizer (I’ve never seen one), is not powerful enough to demagnetize a neo magnet. The magnetizer portion certainly would not be powerful enough to restore the neo magnet to its original gauss level.
One known way to demagnetize a neo magnet is to heat it to its Curie point. That temperature tends to be lower than for other types of permanent magnets.
