Which Types of Locks Locksmith Can Advise to Install

• Cylinder Rim Locks – Includes rim latches, cylinder drawback locks, cylinder nightlatches, APG locks, rim deadlocks, deadbolts and rollerbolts etc. Cylinder rim locks are available with a wide range of different security and operational features. The basic model is a simple latch that can be opened at all times from the inside and released with a key from the outside. Top-of-the-range models will incorporate additional functions such as double-locking, dead-locking, resistance to hacksaw and drill attack and resistance to picking.
• Key in Knob/Lever
• Tubular Deadbolt – It can be opened from the inside by operating the lever unless it has been deadlocked from the outside with a reverse turn of the key. The latch can be held back by using the snib.
The outside operation is by key, but this can be disabled by using the snib button on the inside as a crude deadlock function. A reverse turn of the key will deadlock both the inside lever and the bolt – this prevents intruders from gaining access via another means and releasing the lock with the lever, but also means that it is possible to lock people indoors.
• Cylinder Mortice Lock which many locksmith shops offer – Includes deadlocks, sashlocks, knobsets, nightlatches, sliding and metal door locks, plus panel locks etc.
• PADLOCKS – Includes easy-to-use product selector for brass bodied padlocks, lever, cylinder, discus, laminated and combination padlocks, plus padbars, hasps and staples etc.
• CABINET AND CAMLOCKS – Includes cupboard locks, filing cabinet locks, camlocks and accessories, locker locks, box locks, till locks etc.
• DOOR AND WINDOW – Includes metal/wooden window locks, door chains and bolts, multiple application locks, merchandisers etc.
• MISCELLANEOUS – includes bullet & shutter locks, parking posts, wheel clamps, gun cabinet locks, sae locks, vehicle locks, garage door handles etc.
