Can we charge and discharge a lead acid battery simultaneously?
Can a lead acid battery or any other battery be charged or discharged simultaneously??
Perhaps this is what happens with a battery with a domestic Inverter connected to domestic ‘load’, whenever the battery gets sufficiently discharged its Voltage level goes below a threshold which is sensed and the charger (kept at a higher Voltage level) takes over to charge (hence a potential difference is available to enable charging). If your question is to understand the behavior at electrolytic level, then you need to ask an electro-chemist about the chemical dynamics/ stability of the electrolyte.
