Jack Case

What are the reasons for the defense for the actions of the villain in Jack and the Beanstalk?
I need to put myself in the position of the bandit and find reasons to defend his actions. In my case I'm Jack and the Beanstalk and the need to defend the giant. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
Who is the villain? The poor giant just got home after a day's work and found his house invaded by a thief who stole his golden harp and goose that laid the golden eggs … * * of course, he tried to hunt.

The film pits the “cold, cruel, heartless” world that can’t accept abnormality against a plucky, and mute, hero. Jumbo Jr. (Dumbo is a… |
