I've owned 11 cordless drills over the years (currently I have 4) and this Makita is not only the best of the bunch, by far, it may be the best power tool I own. I got it for about a month now and I have used all day. I have a full compliment of "quick disconnect" bit so I also use this driver as a drill. I drilled holes in the concrete block and using masonry bits and it will easily strawberry Tap-cons. I think that light little work has been a gimmicky thing but I must admit, it's a big help in tight dark places, I even used as a flashlight. For the size, weight, price, quality, power, etc., etc., you can not beat this drill / screwdriver. The batteries charge in 15 minutes, but they last for many days with 2 batteries, you never without a battery. The tool comes with a square soft carrying case, kind of like a cooler. Since I hate wearing a device tool belt, this case is ideal if you remove the clip, this case will hold a bunch of standard handtools and drill. This is an excellent product, I highly recommend it. Before going to Home Depot the other day and I noticed this little wonder supplied with the Makita 18v drill, I was using a wireless phone and a cheapo Skil cord to my drill. The corded drill is about 15-20 years, but did a good job yet, but I got sick of dragging a cord around, so I pulled the trigger on this set Makita, and I must say I'm glad I did. I never thought was just a impact driver, and to be honest, I never really watched one before the other day. This thing will screw into anything you can find, and if you need to bury the screw heads so that the surface is level, you can do with ease, without interlacing the son! This driver will also benefit those who are buried right screw into the wood without breaking sweat. The design fits perfectly in the hand, and the tool is well balanced. The lithium-ion battery reduces the weight of the tool, then you can work all day and your wrist even mind. As I said before I took this tool and the lithium ion 18v Drilling at the Home Depot for $ 270 million, I'm one heck of an agreement to examine each of these tools operate at about 200 a piece. My only minor minor complaint is that they do not give me any drill bit or driver as I thought they would, but can be neglected realize how this tool works. A +, Thanks Makita
