What is a Pro Tools LE unit?
The digidesign website says: “When running the Pro Tools installer on a Windows 7 machine, DO NOT plug in your LE unit when the installer instructs you to do so.” What do they mean? Do they mean the MBox? How can you install Pro Tools without an MBox?
I assume that Digidesign is referring to the MBox. Normally, when updating Pro Tools, its recommended that you leave your audio interface disconnected to prevent any problems with your configuration. However, I would investigate as to why Digidesign doesnt want you to connect the audio interface, even when Pro Tools is telling you that you should. It might just be a simple typo on the Digidesign website.
