What setup would hit harder? 1 15 inch audioque hdc3 strapped to a kicker 1200 amp, or 2 audiobahns?
or 2 audiobahns (2200 watts a piece) hooked upto an 850 watt amp….
What would be louder? Because my 2 audiobahns hit really hard…they were 1100 RMS a piece, and i had a good install on a 850 watt amp for both of them. Do you think my new system with the Audioque HDC3 would be louder with just the one 15 inch sub and one 1200 watt amp? Would it even be that loud at all? I had a 15 inch diamond d6 hooked up to a 1600 watt amp and it wasnt that loud at all. Thanks for your opinions. I am looking for bass that goes through your entire body. If this setup isnt suffiencient, please let me know. PS- also I will need a HO alt, right…even for one audioque?
No need for HO alternator, just upgraded electrical (aka big 3, batteries)
An HDC3 is happier with around 2k RMS, not 1200watts. Put it in a box around 4.5 cu ft tuned at 38 hz and you will be amazed.
If your audiobahns were 12s, then i would think it can be up to par, but the audiobahns have the surface area advantage.
