Are the chances of getting a dry socket least if I hit not wisdom teeth?
I had my wisdom teeth removed this morning and I am 17 years old. I had three removed and all three of them were not affected and had no root system se. The doctor said they were basically small buds. The thing is 9 days, I have a formal dance and should be allowed by then but if I alveolitis I problably will not. I would like to know what is the chance to get a dry socket.
I mine is out there about 7 days. Day 1 u should be good enough. Day 2 has a lot of pain. Take TYLENOL. Works better than the stuff they give u. Day 3 pain became a little worse. It trouble swallowing, I have not eaten for a few days I do not want to damage the stitches. Also when you wash your mouth just gently slide the head Tilt drag to move the salt water, then let them run around your mouth without spitting into the sink. Day 4 pain it will take more salt wash water and ice if theres swelling. Day 5 You should feel better 12X. Speaking was a little hard but it was able to understand. Lol Day 6 Back to the regular routine, but no solid food. Day 7 Food Finally, you can eat sold! Haha Day the best ever. After Day 7 just continue to do so because the salt water rinse tightens the skin to heal faster. The lower teeth r more likely to dry socket, but its still possible on top. There they cut into your gums can u get a dry port, no matter how it is affected. PS Do not do it and your invisible. I I did and regret. : (Feel Better eat lots of ice cream and have fun at the formal dance.
