Hot Surface
How does blowing across the surface of hot liquids cool it?
Like when right before you drink hot coffee, you would blow across the surface to cool it. How does this work?
2 ways,
A) puts cooler air over the liquid, so the temp differential is higher, which causes more cooling.
B) moves the high humidity air away and puts drier air over the liquid, allowing more evaporation, which does considerable cooling.
