Hex Spanner

what type of spanner is needeed for a renault megane sump plug?
I have just been suprised to find my megane has a strange sump plug not a hex head or allen bolt what spanner is needed to change the oil
its an 8mm square tool, available in most car accessory shops, also be aware that you will need to replace the sump plug WASHER as Renault use a single use washer with a rubber insert but to confuse you there are a couple of different sizes
please do not try to tighten the sump plug by hand, this is a quick way to lose your oil and blow up your engine
