Can I use regular household paint on my car?
Hello, I have a very dark black 1999 Camaro. There are some spots like the rear quarter panels and such that could use a painting.
If I take some really black paint that you buy in the hardware store and brush some on the car, what will happen.
I ask this because sometimes I use the nick/scratch pen brushes that you brush over the scratch mark and it seems to work…
My friend tried this in high school even after everybody told him not to (without the brush).
He used house paint and a spray gun. It looked like crap before peeling off in about 6 months. Using a brush will make it look even worse.
