Hammer Set
What tool set would you recommend?
I need a small tool set with a hammer, screwdriver, philips, both adjustable, and maybe a couple of other typical tools to be used around a small apartment to put together beds, dressers, hang pictures, build bookshelves, etc. nothing special, but something that wont break in a week, but affordable
There are small sets that contain 20pcs for basic,and simple projects. I bought one for a friend that had all the basics( 3 types of screwdrivers,hammer,3 types of pliers,bubble level,30′ tape measure,caulking gun,stapler/brad nailer,an assortment of screws/nails,and a pair of channell lock pliers) for around 35.00.Its good enough for small projects,also you can get a 10pc cordless tool set for under an 100 bucks.Shop around and you can find a bargain…..good luck.
The posters who said not to buy cheap tools are right on the money,if you can buy American(Craftsman,Channell lock,Mac,Snap-on,etc) they may be pricier but they will last.
