Back splashes are no longer used to protect surfaces but to create a main design feature. The backsplash is an important element of the overall finish so make sure it integrates correctly.
Backsplash Research
Spend lots of time visualising the end result and put some time aside to research the various materials. Have a look in the many home interior magazines to grasp ideas and cut out clippings to compare the different options. Have a look at the existing countertop colours and the natural light filtering into the bathroom. Tiles choices are vast including ceramic, glass, metallic or natural stone options.
Backsplash Materials
