Can I use an indoor-outdoor carpet on a garage floor?
I was told here to not use my indoor-outdoor carpet on my deck. Now, I wonder if it can be used on the floor of my garage. Otherwise, I guess, I will have to give it away. Real answers people. Also, I am not worried about it getting dirty or stained.
Yes you can, I worked for a wealthy family that purchased a very large home. It had a detached 3 car garage and an attached 2 car garage. The 2 car garage had a carpeted floor. It was a high quality indoor outdoor carpet. After about 4 years we decide to replace it. The interior designer who did the house for first owner was asked to take care of it. She stated that there are now carpets made for garages. Chem. resistant, flame retardant etc. She had it replaced and it is really nice. The house keeper just vacum’s it.
