How do I replace the diverter valve in my Moen kitchen faucet?
My kitchen faucet sprayer did not work properly since I installed six months ago. Moen said the diverter valve should be replaced. They sent it to me, but how do I open it and replace it? It is a single handle with a small spout in the filtered water built under the main outlet.
not simple task, in fact should hire a plumber. could be in line debis out sprayer. Shut h / c angle stops under the sink. Open the faucet to check. no water. remove the handle of his saw Allen. unscrew cap / top, pull up to clear the spout of the Assembly. when it was removed switch reinstall all divertor. u can help with turning on the water very slowly with divertor to remove all debris in the lines usual care little things get heavy high shoots water everywhere.
