The Verge Three Station Lavatory
The Verge Three Station Lavatory is an elegant lavatory that can accommodate up to 3 users simultaneously in rapid and efficient fashion. They are ideal for high-traffic restrooms that may be prone to vandalism. All of the valves, water supplies, waste assembly and other optional items are located within the pedestal and frame and thereby make this lavatory very vandalism resistant. These lavatories have an efficient design and can be installed in half the time than a bank of traditional China lavatories. The faucets are positioned on 30 inch centers which is standard lavatory spacing and gives each user an adequate amount of personal space. These lavatories are ADA compliant and TAS compliant units are available upon request. In addition, the bowl material is a natural quartz and granite material that has earned the Greenguard certification for materials with low-emitting chemical emissions that improve indoor air quality.
The Verge Three Station Lavatory can also help improve the hand washing habits of the general public by offering a more attractive and cleaner environment. Recent observational studies have found that the percentage of people washing their hands after using a public restroom is falling. This is a surprising development given the public’s awareness of the easy transmission of dangerous diseases and flu viruses. One recent study found that 92% of the people say that they wash their hands after using a public restroom. However, the reality is that only 77% were observed washing their hands. Several studies have shown that only 51% to 66% of men wash their hands and 88% of women wash their hands after using a public restroom. Since hand washing is an easy way to prevent infection, Why do so many people ignore this process? Two of the most common excuses were that the sinks were not working and that the sink area was crowded. Both of these excuses can be largely eliminated with the Verge Three Station Lavatory.
The Verge Three Station Lavatory
is comprised of three principle components, the bowl, the pedestal, and the support frame. The support frame is made from a heavy gauge stainless steel and is mounted to a secure wall. The pedestal is also made from stainless steel and within the pedestal and support frame are the internal components such as water entry and exit pipes and valves. The elongated bowl is the most obvious part of the lavatory and it is both beautiful and functional. It is an elegant appearance and the bowl is made from a material called Evero. Evero is a blend of granite, natural quartz, exotic minerals and a bio-based polyester resin that can be molded into round corners and round edges. The result is a natural looking, earthy material that is as durable as it appears. It is virtually maintenance free and only requires periodic cleaning. It has no cracks or crevices and is non-porous, features which eliminate areas for bacteria and mold to develop. It is extremely impact and scratch resistant. It is also resistant to burns, chemicals, and stains. If the surface suffers any damage it can be repaired easily with standard cleansers or with some sanding from a fine grit sandpaper or steel wool. Evero is available in twelve earth-tone colors. In addition, the manufacturer warrants this material to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of fifteen years. In sum, the Verge Three Station Lavatory is an attractive, efficient lavatory system that will add a bit of elegance to any location.
