Can you take jobs out of country after your active duty contract ends?
My husband’s active duty enlistment for the Army will be over next year, after which he will have the two years of going to the reserve drills every month.
However, he plans on getting a job through the DIA afterward. Does he have to wait two years before being able to accept a government overseas job in Europe or Asia?
No guessing, please. Thanks!
If he still plans to be an M-day Soldier (2 days a month/2 weeks a year) while oversees there are units for him to be a member of. Obviously it depends where he goes, but I know someone who drills in Europe and one who drills in Iraq (at Camp Victory).
