How can I replace a door frame with a security system on this?
I locked myself out of the house kicked in the door. I cracked the door frame to do so. I was totally shocked to see how easy it is to break the door. The door will always close and lock, but it looks really bad, I would replace it, but I am stuff ADT Security on top. Do I have a professional replace the door? If yes, how much should it cost? Can I replace the door myself? I am fairly well with construction. And ADT must come replace the security thingy at the top of the frame and door? If you think I can do myself, I would love to have some references (Websites or books) that will help me in the project. Or if you think I should get a professional, make suggestions about who I should use. I am in Atlanta area.
Most major security companies will go out and do, especially when you tell them that you meet a new door installed, or you can do yourself with a little patience to remove the old and install new, just drill a hole pair and route the wire return it and reconnect the alarm button. If you buy the door, and someone else to install it, go to the price of Michigan about $ 150 installed, including cleaning and case back inside
