how to reset garage door keypad opener model # 132b2171-2?
I have a craftsman 1/2 hp garage door opener, I painted my house and took off the keypad opener from outside.. when i put it back on my old password doesnt work … so how do i reset soo i can open my garage door from thee outside with the code !!!! the model number is- 132B2171-2 ….. pleasee helpp
Ok in order to re-program the keypad, what you need to do is go up to the garage door opener itself and push the button on the back of the unit. Push and hold the button until you see the LED light come on and stay on. Then go over to your keypad and enter your code and hit enter. You will see your garage door light flash a couple of times and your keypad is programed.
Now the same should hold true as well for your remotes. You push and hold the button on the unit. Then press the button on your garage door remotes and they should sinc up to the garage door opener.
