Diverter Transfer
Can I install a hand shower without having to tear out walls and installing a valve to transfer?
I want it to install this kit shower Kohler: http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?item=13597002. I was told by a plumber that does not connect to my existing shower and that the line should be connected to it with an elbow power out of the wall and on top of my head, shower diverter, I need to install a transfer valve. Is this true? Kohler Installation Guide does not give good information, so I hope someone here has a good idea. Thank you! you do not replumb your shower valve if you want to remove the shower head and arm and just pocket the shower available for use. it can simply attach to existing arms by removing and installing the new compnents for this style of a handheldshower. You then control the temperature of the water and Flo by your current single handle shower valve. Otherwise, check out this model MasterShower ® showerarm and diverter K-9511-good luck
