How do I boot my SATA HDD connected to a SATA PCI-E Controller card?
I have a Western Digital 160Gb HDD connected to an Encore SATA PCI-E controller card.
The card supports non-RAID boot. How do I boot up
In the CMOS option “Boot sequence”, it has an option [ Boot from other device ]. Does this indicate that I can boot from a PCI-E controller card?
just try and u will see if it works, its one of the options, it will probably say the name of the hard drive too
