How to use electrically conductive glue?
Well, I’m working on an elcrical project but I absolutely SUCK at soldering, so I bought a special type of glue that conducts electricity and can replace using a soldering iron. I just have one problem, how exactly can I use this stuff on some parts of metal that are pointing up in the air without the glue running everywhere… (the glue is applied with a toothpick and is a bit runnier than Elmers craft glue)
Rotate the part so that the vertical part is horizontal. clamp the parts together with the spring loaded solder clamps you can get at places like radio shack. Then apply a drop of the epoxy.
As the other answer says, this is not good for high currents.
If you are looking for a career in electronics, you have to learn to solder. It really is very easy.
