corded vs cordless battery operated tools. which is preferred?
i am tempting to buy cordless tools like circular saws, but i am wondering if the power is better than corded. for example an 18v vs corded
Cordless drills are VERY convenient. Most have enough torque to do what you need them to do-drill holes, drive screws, etc. Some, of course, are better than others when it comes to battery life, recharge time, etc. Generally the more you pay, the better the tool. Generally……
When it comes to saws, though, the difference between corded and cordless is huge. Unless you want to spring for a 28V Milwaukee lithium-ion saw, at $340 from Amazon, go with a corded saw. You can get a pro quality Makita from Amazon for $90, and it will last you a lifetime. Hope this helps.
