1. Fix your air leakage
If you do nothing else – follow this advice it: Find and fix your compressed air leaks. Air leaks are the largest in the industry "loser"!
The plant loses an average of 20% to 30% it's compressed air through multiple small air leaks. The money spent on human power and parts to find and fix those leaks worthwhile. Note (¼ inch hole will go 103 cfm @ 100 psi)
2. Change for lubricants Synthetic
If you use oil-based lubricants, you could live up to 8% energy savings opting for compressor lubricants. More prolong equipment life and save on oil changes and disposal costs.
3. Plant To reduce pressure
If possible – reducing the overall pressure of the plant. Under Pressure> Less CFM used> less energy consumed.
