How do I re-activate Windows XP after a complete system recovery?
Okay. So I used a Gateway System Recovery disk on my old HP Pavilion ze4900 notebook. Not a very wise decision. Everything is fine but my copy of Windows XP needs re-activated so when I type in the product key that is attached to the sticker on the bottom of my laptop, it does not work. Has anyone had this happen to them? Some help would be greatly appreciated.
The License is for 1 computer only. It sounds like you’re trying to use it on 2 computers. The other thing is that Gateway does not allow installation on computers other than Gateways.
