Moen Canada’s M-Power Commercial Faucet
Moen® Canada offers a complete line of easy-to-use M•Powerä sensor-operated commercial faucets featuring hands-free activation. Designed with conservation and convenience in mind, these faucets are ideal for commercial, healthcare and educational facility applications.
“Our M•Power electronic faucets aid in conserving precious resources,” said Allen Talley, director, commercial marketing and new product development, Moen Canada. “As a member of the Canada Green Building Council, a coalition of leaders in the building industry promoting environmentally responsible building and design, Moen designed these new faucets to offer solutions for the conservation of water and energy.”
A unique motion sensor starts and stops the flow of water, automatically reducing daily litres used, reducing sewage bills, limiting hot water consumption, saving energy and preventing the risk of accidental overflow.
In addition, because there are no handles, M•Power faucets also offer a hygienic solution in preventing the spread of germs and bacteria from user to user.
Above- and below-deck electronics offer installation options based on sink styles or building preferences.
M•Power electronic faucets feature:
- Advanced electronics, which eliminate reflectivity and false sensing
- 30-second “auto-off” function, which prevents waste and possible overflow if the sensor eye is obstructed
- Four-inch center-set or single-hole mount lavatory faucet
- High-arc, gooseneck deck mount
- 1.9 litres per minute low-flow aerators
- Slow-closing solenoid valve stops “water-hammer”
- Stainless steel supply lines
- All-metal chrome-plated construction
Each ADA-approved faucet is powered using standard lead-free AA Alkaline batteries or a low-powered AC adaptor and comes equipped with a water-conserving low-flow, vandal-resistant aerator.
Available accessories include: mixing valve, mixing tee, AC adaptor, multi-unit AC adaptor, deckplates, cable and a 24-inch power cable lead for maximum flexibility.
All of Moen’s M•Power commercial electronic faucets are backed by a five-year warranty against material or manufacturing defects.
Moen commercial products are durable, safe and accessible, designed to withstand the wear and tear of heavy daily usage found in most commercial buildings. Products built for the real world — faucets, flush valves and showerheads — are ADA-compliant, virtually maintenance-free and offer many convenient features created with the user in mind.
