Aerada High Arc Automatic Faucet
Our Aerada High Arc Automatic Faucet is the latest innovation in our line of Aerada commercial faucets. This line of faucets features many new electronic and mechanical options for use in retail, industrial, educational, and health care locations. Given the variety of options and uses there is an Aerada faucet for almost any commercial niche. Options can be selected and configured to meet the requirements of many different applications. This line of faucets also complements other products offered by the manufacturer such as showers, plumbing fixtures, valves, and accessories. These faucets have a modern, stylish design and will give a current, updated look to any style of sink.
The Aerada High Arc Automatic Faucet has a number of design specifications that make it suitable for heavy-duty use in commercial applications. The components are made from solid cast brass, chrome, and stainless steel which resist corrosion. The cast brass spout and aerator are very durable and vandal resistant. The chrome plated finish is attractive and corrosion resistant. Anti-rotational trimplates and flexible stainless steel supply hoses reduce maintenance requirements. The infrared activation is extremely reliable and it used on the Aerada 800, 900, 1000, 1100, and 1200 series. In addition, the electronics are above-deck and easily serviceable. There is an external water temperature control which is ADA compliant. The electronics are powered by a six volt DC lithium battery (included) or by a 115 volt AC plug-in adapter (not included, sold separately).
All models of the Aerada High Arc Automatic Faucet feature a water conserving 0.5 gallons per minute water flow. The water flow is activated only when the users hand is detected by the infrared sensor within the lavatory bowl. This sensor uses a twin-beam system that responds quickly and eliminates false activations. In addition, the detection zone of the sensor is broad enough that users can approach the faucet from either a side or front approach. This feature is part of the products ADA compliance for disabled users. The sensor also has two operational modes that can be selected, static and dynamic. The static mode will sense the complete infrared beam while the dynamic mode will sense only hand motion. The faucet will automatically turn off the water flow when the hands are removed from the bowl area. Another unique feature is an external manually operated temperature control lever. This lever is ADA compliant and allows the user to select the temperature of the water flowing from the faucet. The lever is easily operated and requires less than 5 pounds of pressure to turn.
The Aerada High Arc Automatic Faucet has several other unique features that make it highly suitable for commercial applications. The solenoid valve is activated electronically and has few moving parts. This ensures long-term reliable performance. In addition, valve performance is enhanced by the fact that the valve is highly resistant to most chemicals and minerals found in municipal water supplies. The faucet also features check stops in the stainless steel supply hoses to prevent backflow into the supply lines. And the faucet body is a sturdy chrome-plated solid cast brass unit. The faucet has centershank mounting with an optional four inch centerset trim plate.
In sum, the Aerada High Arc Automatic Faucet is an attractive combination of quality, style, and vandal resistance demanded by commercial clients. The reliable infrared activation is the hands-free feature that todays customers are demanding for their sanitary concerns. This faucet reduces building owner expenses by saving on water and energy costs. And finally, this faucet exceeds ADA, ANSI, and c/UPC standards.
