Alone Dvr
To connect direcTV with a Tivo Series 2 DVR must I use the IR to change channels or is there another controler
its a stand alone DirecTV box (not with built in DVR) The box has a USB port but no serial port (like I was using with cable)
Before you go to all that trouble–make sure your DirecTV dish is compatable. IE: dual LMB’s
