Air Cleaning
No matter your age, air hockey is still an incredibly fun game. It’s been a staple item in game rooms since the late sixties and its here to stay. You’d be shocked to know that you are die hard air hockey teams around the world and of course there are many novice enthusiasts with their own tables at home. If you’re one of these people, you’ve got to make sure that you can properly clean your hockey table. Follow my tips and you’re table with be sparkly clean in no time.
1. The first thing you should do is remove the built-up dust from your table. You can do this by using the vacuum attachment on your vacuum cleaner to suck off any visible dust. If you don’t already have a pool-table cover, you should invest in one to prevent excess dust from building up on your table.
2. Next take a clean, dry rag and wipe down you table. Take extra time and a little elbow grease to scrub down extra dirty areas.
3. Now you can turn on your table. Grab a soft cloth and lightly spray it with some all-purpose cleaner. Take time to thoroughly wipe down your entire table, including the legs. This will leave a coating on the table top that will make playing much easier and smoother. Do not spray the cleaner directly on the table because some residual mist could end up in the air holes of the table.
4. You will also want to use an all-purpose cleaner to clean your puck and your mallets. Only use a small amount to remove built-up oil.
Keep your air hockey table extra clean and you will have it for years and years.
