Adjustable Torque
Adjustable tuners are a good investment phase?
I have a 2001 Civic Ex and I thought to make one after I saw a complement about them on Internet but I've never heard of them. I just want to know if they actually give the power and torque over a car or not.
These so-called variable "tuners" do not really do anything other than trying to intercept the signal meter and adjust the signal to run either poorer or richer, depending on what the situation needs. The real way to do it would be to contact someone like Hondata and get your stock ECU reflashed to reprogram the fuel and ignition maps for better performance. Otherwise, it does not really seem to be much available for the 2001-2005 Civic except for an SI, and even those who are mediocre at best.
